I think that you are not taking into consideration that erosion also cause the direction of flow "back then" different to "what is now". It doesn't necessarily mean that the river will cut deeper. If the erosion erodes the bank, it can just eventually cause the river become wider, possibly causing new streams.FFH said:

Take the Nile and the Euphrate-Tigris rivers as example. Do you think it was deeper or shallower now then before? Due to the flooding of the valleys and plains, it doesn't necessary mean the valleys would become deeper.
You are only partially right that rivers may cut deeper, but you have completely ignore the built-up of silt and that erosion can change flow-direction.

There were Neolithic villages (10000 and 200 BCE, depending on the geographical location), where farms began and pottery were used to store food after the Ice Age, instead of the usual hunting/gathering. They still use stones to make tools, but were far more advance than Paleolithic period. It is in Mesopotamia, where the first true civilisation began.
You are making false claims. Do you do that often, FFH?

Do you see any evidences of major rivers, in this world, having changed their course hundreds of times over millions or billions of years?

A major river here in NH changed cource overnight. The towns that depended on it were, more than a little annoyed. Currently they are trying to figure out how to make it go back to the old riverbed.
I think you should try reading this book, you could learn alot about the Grand Canyon.

How do you explain the formation of Metamorphic and Sedimentary rocks? How were the different layers sorted and then formed so exactly? What about the fossils? Why don't we see elephants and dinosaurs together?
This doesn't happin in a flood.

If 80 % of the Doctors you seen said you had A serious Disease that can be cured with Medication.... But the Medication Can be harmful if you didnt have the Disease... and 20 % said its a cold.. Would you take the COld Medicine or the Medicine For your serious Disease......
Same is said about the Age of the Earth... Nearly all scientists put the earth at 4.5 Billion years old After Scientific Studies of the advanced sort.... No offfense (im very religious.. Obviously) but a theory based on Adam and Eve and Creation by Christian Sects.....Not the same thing....... sorry again (not trying to offend anyone)

I'd put the real number of scientists that believe the earth is 4.5 billion years old at near 100%. I wouldn't call the people that FFH is quoting scientists to begin with.

What you fail to understand is that FFH genuinely believes scientists are evil men with an anti-God agenda. Look how many posts there have been on this thread in support of an old earth and the evidence presented. Clearly, in the analogy you gave, FFH would take the cold medicine. What I don't get is why this thread hasn't died out yet. Does anyone here really think they are going to change his mind? I can't figure out who has his head deeper in the sand, FFH or everybody else.

No, I believe that many or most scientists, who believe the earth to be millions, or billions of years old, are presenting theories based on evolutionary beliefs or influences and other bias'..
I would do my own research and see what was best for my particular situation...
The difference between you and I, is that I find out for myself what is truth and what is not...
For instance, if you were dying of cancer and the doctor said start chemotherapy or you will die, what would you do?
I would look at the results of those who have gone through chemotherapy and see if that was the result I desired....
Then I would research alternative medicinces and see what kind of positive results were obtained by others...
Thirdly, I would look into natural cures and see what kind of results others had obtained...
I look at the evidences....cause and effect, NOT what others tell me is true or false, fact or fiction, but what I can see and observe, based on personally research..
Just because 90 percent of the scientists, or doctor, say something does not make it the ONLY possible explanation, solution, cure, etc...
Think for yourself, don't blindly follow the evolutionary old earth crowd, they have no tangible evidences and can easily fool the masses with their so-called expertise in their particular field.
There have been many fraudulent scientific evidences that have come to light as creation scientists and the average person more fully educate themselves...
Not basing my theory on scriptures alone...., but have included, in this thead, good evidences to back up my theory, found on earth and in space...
There is absolutely no way this earth is millions of years old....
I challenge anyone to come forth with a good piece of evidence proving this earth and our universe to be millions of years old..
Radiometric dating has been proven inaccurate....
Sedimentary layers in the Grand Canyon formed quickly during the flood and throughout it's short history...
Etc., etc....
