The Economist endorses Kamala Harris

He has business success. Ignore it if you want. It dosent change anything.
You're delusional. Trump is a failed "silver-spooned" businessperson. Can't even operate a casino(s) for profit.
That's why everything else he tries to create and touch fails. Trump steak, water, college and whatever other grifting attempt he's made.
All failed.
Your problem is that you believe the words of a known scammer. He'd be broke if it weren't for people like you believing every word.

You can't fix stupid

How is that evidence of anything other than who the endorser wants to vote for?

What does "inform their vote" mean?
Every choice you make should usually be "informed," meaning that you can articulate your reasons for making the choice. Sure, sometimes it's random, because we just don't have enough information. But most of the time, sensible people -- when faced with a choice -- will consider the options and make their choice based on reasons they've actually thought about.

Maybe anarchists don't do that, but I don't know.

More evidence that Trump is bad for the economy in my view.

Meanwhile Harris has experience successfully managing the economy under Biden in my view

Plus, that article is over three years old. Since then, though some records have been hit, the stock market has also been more volatile,
And Trump had to pay some hefty fines, lost the licence to do business in New York, has to pay millions in court costs for the cases he's still being prosecuted for, and they are not going to get him money. If anything, he lost more money in the last three years.
He is totally dependent on donations, and without them, he'd be probably bankrupt by now.

I do not understand;
Trump's economic proposals which are at best wishful thinking,
and why didn't Harris nail him on each and every one with the evidence from all economic wings of their destructiveness and absurdity.

Not only does he not have a plan beyond ideas at the level of I'll give everybody a magic pile of beans, there are zero analyses that I have seen to suggest any long term positive outcomes. The MAGAs here certainly haven't presented any.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Irrelevant. Even if he somehow had better success in the past 3 years (which I take you have no idea one way or another, else you would have mentioned it), that doesn't make him a good businessman when we are talking about someone that has a long history of investments.
I am not here to defend Trump. By the way, a ton of my money is in the stock market.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
While that endorsement is good for Harris, which makes me happy, the Economist is a right-leaning magazine I find somewhat loathsome. But right now, we need all the help we can get.
I can't wait for their articles to come out on the wonders and amazement of solar technology , batteries, and glorified golf carts to absolutely enhance one's economic portfolio. They may even include a free prospectus with every magazine.

Yup it is amazing, so much so that Texas is leading country in installing solar powered electricity generation and utility scale batteries were already able to keep the California grid from having to implement rolling brown-outs during peak energy demand this summer. as for golf carts, your average entry level ev will out accelerate most any non-muscle car on the road from a traffic light, it isn't even close. It even does this at half the energy price per mile. Prospectus? you missed the boat on the company that only makes EVs, if you had listened and bought Tesla stock early, you wouldn't be griping about your economic situation.

The world is a quarter of the way through the 21st century, it is not the 20th any more and as Harris says, we aren't going back. :)

I think my dad used to say something pretty smart which was "Don't make anything you can't get rid of." Also, solar won't work here. So sorry.

I want to see a quarter charged 'high performance' ev go against a quarter tank high performance fuel machine on a track with people making bets. Particularly with older used models. ;0)

Feeling lucky?

Put your virtual money where the mouth is?

....oh those dimming headlights might be a problem....... my flashlight does that too with low old batteries.

Why, do you have fantasies about Bambi meets Godzilla.

Don't tell me you are driving a car with a mechanical voltage regulator, I don't think they have made them in 50 years.

I'll stick with the actual facts of the matter.
