The End Time Prophecy in Revelation 16:12 has been Fulfilled

as i pointed out the whole Book of Revelation is symbolic, with very little of it considered factual.
The great city of Babylon was originally built so that it straddled the Euphrates, and the river’s waters were used to form a broad deep moat encircling the city and also to form a network of canals within the city walls. At the time of Babylon’s fall in 539 B.C.E., Cyrus diverted the waters of the Euphrates so that his troops could march through the riverbed into the unsuspecting city. Thus, the waters of the Euphrates were ‘dried up.’ (Isa 44:27, 28; 45:1) In symbol, the same thing is prophesied to result from the outpouring of the sixth angel’s “bowl” on “the great river Euphrates,” as described at Revelation 16:12. The following chapter describes the destruction of symbolic “Babylon the Great,” which is said to ‘sit on many waters,’ these representing “peoples and crowds and nations and tongues.”—Re 17:1, 5, 15-18.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. What would the Euphrates drying up look like? The peoples of Iraq dissapearing? (I’m guessing the Bible probably does not go into that level of detail)

The fact that nobody was using it to predict back then what is happening now. Hindsight is a marvelous thing.
Russia and China -along with others -will field soldiers numbering 200 million and pass over the Euphrates on their way to the holy land to make war with European forces -which will have passed over the Islamic nations (which will have acted against Europe) militarily like a whirwind -and also to make a land grab in the area.

Before that, Israel will be targeted with a major sustained attack from its neighbors.

Some of the following has also happened, some is happening, some will happen...

Zech 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. 3And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. 4In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. 5And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

6In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. 7The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah. 8In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them. 9And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

After those things above... the forces gathered in the valley of Meggido to fight each other will turn to fight the returning Christ...

Zech 14:2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. 3Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. 4And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

it would look like the churches are empty . you would see more people being concerned about Politics than devotion to God

You should realize that very little in the Book of Revelation should be considered literal in fact very little in the Book of Revelation is literal . The Euphrates River is also symbolic of something

Yes, I know this. However, it isn't difficult to discern the literal from the non-literal in Revelation. What is the Euphrates river symbolic for in the book of Revelation? I'm interested in what your response will be.

Sorry, but your interpretation of the river being dried up in Isaiah is incorrect. Regarding Isaiah 44:27:

"That saith to the deep—i.e., to the Euphrates. The words find a literal fulfilment in the strategical operation by which Cyrus turned the river from its usual bed into the Sepharvaim channel, and thus enabled his soldiers to cross on foot (Herod. i. 191). Symbolically the words may mean simply the destruction of the power of Babylon, of which its river was the emblem. (Comp. Revelation 16:12.)"

Isaiah 44:27 Commentaries: "It is I who says to the depth of the sea, 'Be dried up!' And I will make your rivers dry.

No one thought Nostradamus saw the World Trade Towers go down on 9/11 until 9/11/01, just as no one claimed he saw Hitler until after WW2.
It's easy to call prophecy fulfilled after the fact. For all you know, this isnt what your god has in mind.

Revelation 16:12 literally says during the last days the Euphrates river would dry up and that the forces of the east would begin to use it as a pathway/location for military purposes -- and guess what? That's literally what's happened, exactly as it was written and predicted.

Comparing a clear and concise prediction regarding exact locations and exact phenomenons that were foretold to the incoherent ramblings and gibberish of Nostradamus is a false equivalence.

Can you suggest one?

Sure, here you go. This is a Smithsonian article from the December 2017:

What Does the Future of the Euphrates Spell for the Middle East? | History | Smithsonian Magazine

The article states:

"...This was vivid confirmation of a growing crisis. A recent NASA-German government satellite study found that the Tigris-Euphrates basin is losing groundwater faster than any other place on earth except India. The World Resources Institute, the U.S.-based environmental group, has ranked Iraq as among the nations predicted to undergo “extremely high” water stress by 2040, meaning more than 80 percent of the water available for agricultural, domestic and industrial use will be taken out each year. “By the 2020s,” Moutaz Al-Dabbas, a professor of water resources and the environment at the University of Baghdad, told me, “there will be no water at all during the summer in the Euphrates. It will be an environmental catastrophe.”

the power of Babylon the Great has been the people . when the people are gone so go's her protection .
Babylon the Great, as it turns out is false religion . religion has pushed government in one way or another to do what religion wanted . with religion gone ,less conflicts .

Babylon is a metaphor for the top world power that oppresses and promotes evil ideologies.

Russia and China aren't kingdoms. Eifert prophecies Getty the details right or they don't. Also, Russia isn't really considered East. They also don't need a river tip run dry.

You can't use the fact that the modern/political names for nations and/or their leaders aren't the same as 2,000+ years ago as an excuse. I've already explained this to somebody else, it's an extremely weak argument. It's obvious that the prophecy is dealing with nations and their leaders.

Russia is not the only nation with military forces around the river. I only posted the link about Russia to show how many different nations and their militaries are involved in the area.

The prophecies that you have posted will take place after the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are rescued from the lands of their captivities and placed back into their land (Jeremiah 30:7-11, Ezekiel 20:34-38).

First God will have to "plead" with all of the nations as well as the people who are currently in possession of the holy land so that he can judge them for wrongfully taking it and dividing it up amongst themselves (Joel 3:1-2).

JOEL 3:1-2

"1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land."

One of the End Time prophecies in the book of Revelation states that in the last days the Euphrates river would dry up and eastern military forces would begin to use the river as a pathway/location for military related operations.

REVELATION 16:12

"12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared."

The Euphrates river has dried up and is now being occupied by eastern military forces just as the prophecy in Revelation 16:12 predicted over 2,000 years ago.

Kangaroo Feathers

Yea, it is written in the Book of Cyril...
This part of prophecy has indeed been fulfilled. The Battle of Megiddo (Armageddon) occured in 1918 and was won by the Australian Light Horse. You're a century late. Australia won (a couple of New Zealanders were hanging around, too), it's all sorted. Don't worry, as usual the elite Australian Light Horse took care of a problem everyone else thought would be the end of the world.
