The Holy Spirit

So, God sets the stage. Everything about
human nature, he makes it. He knows,
in advance, exactly to the vibration of an
atom, what will happen
But when it happens, oh, is he responsible?
No! We invent a special word called. "freweill ",
and hands are washed.

People, though, are held to higher standards.
Your dog bites someone, you pay.
Your child, you pay.
Someone slips on your wet grass, you pay!

But this perfect one, never accountable
no matter what.
When parents plan a family they cannot be sure that their kids will turn out to be decent, loving, human beings. They hope that by giving their whole-hearted love that things will work out in the end.

In God's case, he knows the end. He also sees the pain involved in getting there. Not all his creatures will make it through, and that must be painful for a loving Father.

But in the new heaven and earth, old memories are erased. There are no more painful reminders of a corrupt world.

I would say, because the Holy Spirit witnesses to Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ witnesses to the Holy Spirit.
All that says is its God's word because it's God's word. A pretty turn of phrase, but it is lacking in content. In essence, you are just repeating yourself using different words. At the heart of things, thou findest thine self mired in an unbounded recursion of banal theme and threadbare variation.

Joseph Smith got members of his family to
witness his gold books.
Twain said HE could not be more convinced if
everyone in the family signed.

Jesus said, 'scripture cannot be broken'. In other words, truth is circular.

How is a God of love to be proved by reason? Does love appeal to reason, or to the heart?

If your heart doesn't allow you to see the truth in Jesus Christ, then no amount of reasoning is going to change your attitude.

All l can do is repeat what scripture says, and demonstrate that it's consistent and coherent. The rest is up to God, and your heart.

Evade?

Sometimes when people get hurt badly, they get angry. What do you think?

I think MAYBE you are angling toward
" you' re just angry with god", but i will
assume better of you.

I also assume you are confident you have
" the truth" and cant get stung. : D

The way to prove your point is to demonstrate that scripture can be broken.

Jesus has set you a challenge. Can you meet that challenge?
Jesus did not write anything that has reached us intact, so Jesus did not set a challenge, please. Right?
If yes, then please quote from Jesus. Right?
