The Holy Spirit

I believe God creates both heaven and earth, and the creatures that inhabit both realms. However, I do not believe that God creates evil. Evil is the product of rebellion against righteousness, IMO.
The Devil/Satan/Iblis (the embodiment of evil), is clearly a creation of G-d:

38:76
English - Sher Ali
God said, ‘O Iblis, what hindered thee from submitting to what I had created with My two hands? Is it that thou art too proud or art thou really of the exalted ones?’
38:77
He said, ‘I am better than he. Thou hast created me of fire and him hast Thou created of clay.’

Do these passages of scripture not tell us that the Holy Spirit acts as a 'person'? Do we know 'things that are coming'?

To my understanding God is holy because he says so! Leviticus 19:2.

Thank you, excellent point. Now I have to think again what holy means. :)

What kind of God creates evil?

Experience teaches me that most atheists have not read the Bible.
Experience teaches me that most atheists who were believers are far better versed in the details of the religious texts and history of their respective former traditions than the average believers of that tradition.

Your experience is anecdotal. It is true in the U.S, and the Bible, and that's it. But in your case, I do believe research proves what you said. But its specific so you should not generalise it.

Vayikra - Leviticus - Chapter 19
2 Speak to the entire congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them, You shall be holy, for I, the Lord, your God, am holy.
https://www.chabad.org/library/bible_cdo/aid/9920/jewish/Chapter-19.htm

If the entire congregation of the children of Israel are "holy", those Israelites who denied Jesus, persecuted him and attempted to kill Jesus on the Cross (though by the grace of G-d Jesus survived a cursed death on the Cross), are they still "Holy" , please? Right?

Regards

But in all honesty there was a survey done in the United States that showed Atheists have more bible knowledge than Christians. That was a general study.
Does one refer to:
JJ SUTHERLAND

"The Pew Forum on Religious Religion and Public Life released a survey on religious knowledge today. Atheists and Agnostics scored higher on it than anyone else, closely followed by Jews and Mormons."
Survey: Atheists, Agnostics Know More About Religion Than Religious
Right?

The question is why it is so, please?

Why are you telling me this? And before you answer, go back and look at the specific context of the post to which I was replying.

Here are some wise words from Peter in scripture:
'lf after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire'.

Is there any restriction on G-d, please?
There are good people and there are evil people, G-d is the Creator of all kinds of people. Right?

Regards
No. God is holy. God does not create evil people. He creates people with the potential to do good, or evil. This is what is called 'freewill'.

All that verse says is, Our club is awesome, and the people who left our club are poo-poo heads.

That's not wisdom. That's just ego.

So, God sets the stage. Everything about
human nature, he makes it. He knows,
in advance, exactly to the vibration of an
atom, what will happen
But when it happens, oh, is he responsible?
No! We invent a special word called. "freweill ",
and hands are washed.

People, though, are held to higher standards.
Your dog bites someone, you pay.
Your child, you pay.
Someone slips on your wet grass, you pay!

But this perfect one, never accountable
no matter what.
