I'm going to win against two bureaucracies. Google told me Amex had not approved the charge. Amex told me they did and put a notice on the pending charge that it would be cancelled shortly if no action. I went on another chat to cancel the order and was told it was being processed. And I have someone now who said she'd be my single contact at Google.

Catch-22 won't stop me.

I WILL WIN.
