My "wet socks and boots and pants covered in beach sand" win beats your covered in mud win. You got covered in mud. I went to the beach after work and took some pictures of the Pacific today.

Just to reiterate, I win today because after work we went to the beach.
It was very nice. Except the squirrels had rocks to hide under so I couldn't chase them around taking pictures of them.

Outside of California, people wonder many things about California. And it's hard to explain to them that not everywhere in California is like LA or San Fransisco (especially in regards to rent). It's also pretty much futile trying to explain that 81 degrees here is so much more comfy and tolerable than 81 plus tropic-level humidity.

I'd have to say it looks like plenty of businesses are ok staying here, and even expand considering the new giant sized building around the Outlets at Tejon.

One of the very nice things about you moving here is to remind me about what I too often take for granted.

I've enjoyed learning of and discovering all the things Californians take for granted, lol. And that there are other ways of doing things, such as work and breaks. My break policy for when I was a supervisor wouldn't be legal here, lol. But Indiana is all work. Here it's definitely way more laid back, and though breaks are more frequent here work still gets done.
