The heat, the frigid cold and the snow were terrible.
But I was always thankful.
But when?
No. Father had to cut them off to pay the taxes. He would slice us to ribbons with a bread knife before we went to bed each night. But we were thankful for what we had.
It was dark and I couldn't see with the sun shining right in my eyes, so I never knew the time.
Nothing better than being amazed... Well almost nothing.
