That's nothing. In a trip to Japan for work I was entering the subway when a horde of people were leaving. Talk about feeling like a salmon trying to swim upstream against the current. Fortunately politeness was in evidence. In the US? Who knows.
And I met my western comrade at the statue of Hachikō who was honored for his extreme loyalty to his human - waiting for him to return for 9 years after he had died.
I just post on RF as proof of aliveness.
I expect that when I croak, my body

Inertia can be a wonderful thing
I've got some honey wheat bread baking in a bread machine, to which I've added a teaspoon of black pepper and a tablespoon of fennel. It smells like hot pizza and is very distracting. I hope it tastes good.
They are still active. Played at some small town fairs this summer.

Looks like several of the original members are still alive and performing, but membership is pretty fluid. That probably helps keep the band alive.

Two or three. Depends who is dining. And next week I'll me making sheepherders pie.
