Some people like crowds. At Woodstock, my wife hated the crowds and I enjoyed them.

And I detest crowds...... everywhere but in Beijing...not sure why I did not mind them there...possibly a cultural thing

and now back to the regularly scheduled program

Further proof that you are a very bad dog.
Bad dog!
That's nothing. In a trip to Japan for work I was entering the subway when a horde of people were leaving. Talk about feeling like a salmon trying to swim upstream against the current. Fortunately politeness was in evidence. In the US? Who knows.

And I met my western comrade at the statue of Hachikō who was honored for his extreme loyalty to his human - waiting for him to return for 9 years after he had died.

I've got some honey wheat bread baking in a bread machine, to which I've added a teaspoon of black pepper and a tablespoon of fennel. It smells like hot pizza and is very distracting. I hope it tastes good.

How? They were old when I was a teenager!
Modern medicine? Old is a state of mind they refuse to accept?

Looks like several of the original members are still alive and performing, but membership is pretty fluid. That probably helps keep the band alive.
