I wonder how aggressive you have to be for the air force? Probably it would be better if you were really good at video games.

I wondered the same thing considering I had applied to become an apprentice radio technician. Probably was a good thing, the long term plan was to have the airforce train me for 4 years then I'd leave and start my own business as a tv repairman. Who would have thought back then that in the not to distant future everything would be thrown out and replaced, not repaired.

Who would have thought back then that in the not to distant future everything would be thrown out and replaced, not repaired.

You didn't say radio technician in your initial post on this subject. Those guys need to be hair trigger aggressive. When squads of combat-ready radio technicians burst into battle, they need to know no fear and attack with the aggression of a pride of lions. It is my understanding that Australian radio technicians are the most feared of all radio technicians worldwide and that includes our Marine radio technicians. And those guys fix radios with a terrible ferocity.

It does seem like a strange reason to turn down a recruit when all else appears OK.

That entire throw away society we have developed isn't a favorite of mine. I suppose we should be very aggressive recyclers.
