Luxury McLaren car worth over $1m washed out of Florida garage and submerged by Hurricane Ian (yahoo.com)

A luxury sports car – estimated to be worth more than $1m – was washed out of its owner’s garage and submerged beneath feet of water as Hurricane Ian tore through a Florida neighbourhood.

The bright yellow McLaren P1, a luxury vehicle that can top out at 217mph and can go from 0 to 60mph in just 2.2 seconds, was captured in Instagram footage by its owner, Ernie.

Ernie shared images of the eye-catching vehicle, purchased by the Florida resident just one week ago, tucked beneath a tree outside his Naples home with water eddying around where the switchblade doors previously would’ve opened upwards to the sky.

“Car went thru the garage,” said the owner of the sports car in a caption on the post showing the damage from the Category 4 storm that pounded the southwestern coast on Wednesday before it was downgraded to a tropical storm as it made its way north to South Carolina on Thursday.

On a separate Instagram account, called Rich Kids of London, they shared video footage from Ernie’s street which surveyed the full damage of his neighbourhood while also providing a bird’s eye perspective of just how deeply submerged the man’s luxury car was.

That car became a Yellow Submarine.

Don't worry. Biden is sending financial assistance
to the victims. The car will be replaced. This is
good...the owner really preferred that it be red.
Your tax dollars at work.
Considering that DeSantis railed against federal aid to disaster victims a few years ago when the disaster happened in a blue area, we could treat him like the dicators we bypass when giving aid to other nations.

I propose that hurricanes single out DeSantis's home
for destruction. This would be a wonderful opportunity
for him to show his convictions, ie, turning down federal
assistance.

If DeSantis stands any chance of being successful in a presidential race, he needs Mr Orange to support him. Otherwise the Pubby ticket's votes will be split.....The same might be true for Trump......I wonder when the hugs will begin....At the rate these Dems are traveling Trump will never see the inside of a courtroom.

Yes political arguments always help....Meanwhile folks in Florida are flooded out, homeless, and they still don't have a body count yet

Oh and I'm not for the whole federal flood relief thing...beyond one time.....

Storm destruction and the threat to human life can't be remedied with just a new roof on a house...Those who argue for humanitarian reasons we should help restore original living conditions after these storms forget it is also humane to have a better plan in place before the storm.....and two storms walk into a bar...

I'll have you know that RF staff are keen on farting.
Moreover, they invite new staff based upon their
facility to partake their celebrations thereof.

Can't a bear take a little time off WITHOUT having you take this thread STRAIGHT into the gutter

I was late to the party, once again. Stumbled onto a site and thought I uncovered new trash.....Here, there was already a thread about reviews on 'Trustpilot'......Anyway, this one reviewer claimed he or his wife was invited to be staff after 3 yrs. as a member....I suppose it could happen, I just have no idea, really....The reviewers referred to RF....

You should purge your mind from considering a gutter to be a bad place. It's time to celebrate how much good gutters bring into our lives. Where would we be without them? - Have you considered that?
