Not real good, was -5c in the mornings there. Very few birds about and no insects. Very depressing trip, my mate is in a really bad way, he can't walk, even talking wears him out. Don't smoke is the lesson.
That seems a bit cold for insects, but I would have thought you might have seen something interesting in the bird department. Sorry to hear about your buddy. Hope things improve for him.

It surprised me, I was expecting to see a lot of birds. I've been talked into doing a cruise to New Zealand in November, hopefully I'll see something interesting there.
