We have 4 black cats, and one with a coat of many colours

Our first was a black cat. He was a very smart dude. One day he was really causing havoc so we gave him a timeout in the bathroom. He thought about it for a while, got on the toilet, jumped into the door, whacked the locking lever open, dropped to the floor, put his paw under the door and opened it. When he strutted out the expression on his face and body was complete self-satisfaction at his accomplishment.

It seems the weather doesn't agree with the weather forecaster.

Yesterday it forecast for today was lots of rain. Today its 0% chance of rain and the hottest day of the year so far said to be 38c (100f)

Our first cat (Jim after Jim Morrison) was black. We had a house warming party. One of the guests said she doesn't like cats because you can't train them (sheesh, really).

Hubby took out his keys and called "Jim, fetch" as he threw them across the room.
Jim looked up at Paul, looked at the keys, back at Paul then leaped across the room to the keys. Patted them for a couple of seconds to make sure they were dead, picked them up and carried them back to Paul dropping them at his feet.

He turned to the cat hater and simple sai "job done"

No training necessary

Well that's me told.

After lunch I took an iced drink, set up the sun lounger in the courtyard and hoped for 20 minutes relaxation.

One of the cats put paws on the cushion and screamed at me (she has a loud and harsh meow when she wants). I got up to check what was her problem, she jumped up onto the sun lounger and settled down for a sleep.
