Airline pilots are threatening strike too.... it appears they were not making enough money..... they might get a 40% raise....... on average pilots get over $200,000 q year now, some as high as $700,000 and some poor individuals get a pitence of a bit over $100,000.....yup, I can see why they need a raise...who could live on such a small salary..... mean while, my state is renegotiating state employee contracts and trying to take away our dental insurance,,,,, but not to worry....we might get a 2% raise....and by law...we cannot strike......

I'm planning a trip next month to be with friends. All I need is an airline strike to make my year complete and there's time for still yet more joy.

Winning by clambering up on the roof of our pole barn, 'patching' the storm damage with duct tape, and climbing back down all with minimum of bloodletting and no major slips or falls...

wishing I had done it before it rained the night before last...gambled on it staying dry...lost that one...

Now, next week need to find contractor to replace the sheet metal roof...that'll be a win, but now we shouldn't have the waterfall that occurred before...
