I'm going to win shortly with an annual cardiology visit - my heart is still beating.
My heart rate was low on the EKG so I'm cutting one med in half as a test. If my BP does not go up much but my heart rate is a bit higher, then it's a meds win. Otherwise it's punt time.

equally grumpy.... but for different reasons and has different triggers to set of a bear to high levels of grumpiness
ChatGPT wrote this poem about grumpy bear:

In a forest deep, where shadows play,
Lived a grumpy bear, night and day.
With fur as dark as the starless night,
He growled and grumbled, a fearsome sight.

His eyes like embers, burning bright,
In the pale moon's gentle light.
He lumbered through the woods so dense,
A solitary soul, with no pretense.

He'd huff and puff, and sometimes roar,
At the critters and creatures he'd abhor.
But deep inside, a heart did beat,
A longing for company, bittersweet.

For beneath that gruff and grizzly veneer,
Lay a bear who wished to hold someone dear.
To share a smile, a tender embrace,
And find in friendship a warming grace.

So if you chance upon this bear one day,
Don't run and hide or shy away.
Extend your hand, offer some cheer,
And you might just tame that grumpy bear's fear.

That's just plain wrong

But I'm ok with this

Less running for me when...

I'm in the mood for mauling
Simply because you're near me.
Funny, but when you're near me
I'm in the mood for mauling.

@Wu Wei this is what ChatGPT thinks of you liking to maul people: "write a short poem about a grumpy bear who thinks he likes mauling people"

In the heart of the forest, tall and grand,
Lived a grumpy bear, feared across the land.
With fur as dark as the midnight sky,
And a glare in his eye that could make grown men cry.

He lumbered through the woods with a heavy gait,
A reputation for anger that was never up for debate.
He thought he liked mauling, oh, what a shame,
For his heart was misguided, lost in anger's flame.

But deep down inside that grizzled soul,
Lay a secret, a truth that he couldn't control.
Beneath the tough exterior, rough and mean,
Was a longing for kindness, a wish to be serene.

One day a small cub lost in the wood,
Approached the grumpy bear, misunderstood.
With trembling paws and eyes so wide,
The cub saw past the anger, deep inside.

The bear hesitated, his heart in a twist,
As the cub's innocence broke through the mist.
He realized then, as their eyes did meet,
That kindness and love could make his heart beat.

No longer grumpy, he let anger fade,
A newfound purpose, a different crusade.
No more mauling, no more fright,
He chose to protect, in love's gentle light.

So remember the bear, once grumpy and tough,
Whose heart found the path that was filled with enough.
A lesson in kindness, in love's great embrace,
That even the grumpiest bear can find a better place.
