It's a wild day helping host kids from an impoverished neighborhood with a play, lunch, games and a gift

I'm going to relax shortly. We can't solve the problems of society but we can give kids who are suffering neglect or are the recipient of negative messages a day focused entirely on them with the message "you matter".

Our model is very simple. It is rooted in the message of our program's namesake, Francis of Assisi. It is not a religious message; it is a universal message: If we see someone in need, we serve them as members of our own family. - Terry Johnson. Executive Director

So, for example we prepare and serve a lunch in the best possible surroundings with healthy food.
