Did you say sandwiches?I'm sandwiched between hot air from inland and a blast of air from Antarctica. 35c yesterday and today they're predicting 15c. It's cold, windy and wet but hopefully it gets me out of driving 90 minutes to some bed and bath shop. That will be a win.
Wait!!!!Did you say sandwiches?
I wish I hadn't either. And a mass shooting in Maine... I gotta stop reading the news.

Chilly and very wet good morning to you.
Or good whatever bit of the day you are experiencing.
I have opinions that are contrary to the accepted medical practices that nurses often use for edema of the legs. Once blisters form and break infection can become a problem so nurses, here, wrap the legs to prevent infection. There is a tendency for the open wound to weep. If the wrap becomes saturated with drainage I find the chances increase for infection. I've had success using a zinc oxide compound carefully applied to the leg using one finger in rubber gloves or a clean popsicle stick. Once dried, the compound protects the wound from infection and promotes healing..I do not like Balmex for this process.....Of course, nurses here disagree with me..This might be called a leg sandwich by a few weirdos but it is in reality a lymph draining wrap that I acquired today. The PT and I had a nice chat mostly about our dogs as she did the deed.
