You have grey squirrel over there, they are quite large and powerful little beasties, four legged animals have twice the pulling force per size as 2 legged
I once saw a mars bar moving across the desk. On standing up i saw it was being dragged by a mouse that was around half the size of the confection

I wonder if it was Secret Squirrel. He works for the International Sneaky Service and has all kinds of spy gadgets.
Still out of control and the highway south is still closed so I won't be going grocery shopping but no imminent danger here.
