The rain has stopped here.

It looks like some rough seas off California. Flooding and landslides. Hope everyone there stays safe.

Well, at least now that's cleared up.

I've never been much of a fan of pineapples.
Actually they are rather nice. On the West Coast we are use to the Pineapple Express. Let's see, I came from Minnesota and Seattle is at almost the same Latitude as Minneapolis. Let's see what that can do for you:

Oh, unseasonable warm there too, their high is 41 F and their low is 29F. It is the midwinter thaw for them, nice. Usually a few more severe snowstorms are waiting.

How about Seattle:

54 and 40. Not nearly as dramatic as I was hoping for. Hmm, how about average temps:

Minneapolis 28.5 and 12.3 for today. Okay, that is a bit better. And to be fair the same for Seattle:

48.7 and 37.6

At any rate the weather has been unseasonably warm and now it is slowly cooling a bit again.

I don't know what that means, but it sounds quite sordid.

So, it's kind of like the "short end of the stick." And if you get the rough end of the pineapple on a short stick, then you're really up the creek.
