There's probably a New York, Poms are not famous for their originality.

It used to be called New Amsterdam when it was first settled by the Dutch, but then the British took it over and changed it to New York. From what I understand, it wasn't named for the English city of York, but rather, it was to honor the Duke of York. If that was the case, they should have called it New Duke of York. Or maybe Duke of New York - A Number One.

Winning with being part of a program for over 700 kids from poor neighborhoods. My role was just perfect - flushing for those little kids who did not know what a handle was for, mopping after boys who could name aim and so forth. The important part is that the kids were obviously having a great deal of fun which made it worthwhile.

They didn't really bother with the "New" around here, they just named places after English towns.

It was ok and you got a free miniature doughnut thingy but I've never been to Italy so can't really compare. I don't even know if the coffee is good in Italy.

It ranges from absolutely wonderful, the drink of the gods to meh...

Like everywhere then.

Yup it sometimes takes a bit of suffering before you find a good one.

Also depends where you buy on how spendy a coffee is. Small town coffee shops around 1€ to 2.50€ (the good stuff). big city centre 5€ to 15€ (or more)(can be good or yuck)
