The clocks went forward an hour last night. Need extra coffee because i missed an hours sleep.

I don't know how many coffees it takes to wake me up properly but so far it's not 8.

My neighbour is blaring crap country pop music

We had one of those living across the road. His music was a mix of heavy rock (good) and modern french pop (pas bon)

He got evicted about 2 years ago for repeatedly blaring his music out all night despite court orders.

I've heard some song about a redneck woman about 12 times. Thankfully they've gone inside

That's a stroke of luck...

Our ex neighbors were inside, with all the windows and doors open. And a DJ style sound system of many watts.

People of that sort are the bane of humanity, and it would be better for the rest of us if they were all shipped to Pluto. I am sorry that any of you ever have to put up with that crap. You are worthy of having peace and quiet in your own homes.

Some sort of mutant tree kangaroo. Probably has some poisonous fangs or spurs that haven't been discovered yet. Or maybe it shoots out poison hairs and no one has yet noticed with all the other dangerous stuff to avoid.
Very likely, it being Australia....

They have Tasmanian devils in Australia, which are more dangerous than bears.

They aren't from Australia..... they are neighbors... they are from Tasmania.... which is why none of those nasty Australian animals are not there, they are afraid of the Tasmanian devil

There was a great PBS special series on country music a while ago. I'm now a fan of good country music. There's the classic "I've been so lonesome in the saddle since my horse died", for example

Then there's the one about the man who gave up country music. He got out of jail and got his girl, his pickup, and his dog back...

Good morning. Easter Monday, last day of the 4 day Easter break here so this afternoon the highway going south to Sydney will be 1 massive carpark so I'm stuck at home unable to go anywhere. Which is fine because that's what I was going to do anyway.

I learned to avoid holiday motorway parking many years ago. Stay at home is the best at such times
