TRUE STORY TIME!
OK so this happened just a few years ago: I was watering my flower beds and for some reason my sprinkler system wasn't working or reaching one particular spot so I dragged my hose out there. I had to reach behind a dog house to turn on the hose. No issues. However, I did notice after I reached back there that apparently I had disturbed a wasp nest and they were all lined up to kill me. OK.
So about 15 minutes later, I needed to turn the water off. But when I stepped outside, the wasps totally attacked me. TOTALLY. I mean, through my clothes and everything. Meanwhile, the water was just going and going and it was a Saturday, and my granddaughter was coming over in a bit and it was just awful. I had to call someone.
So I called a pest control guy, who charged me a whole lot of money to come out and then, he just sauntered outside and said, "Wasps never sting me," and I guess they didn't because he just reached behind the dog house where all those wasps were, and turned off the water, and then he sprayed them with something that killed them and that was that.
