We have a piece of luggage where the metal pulls came off and it's almost impossible to open/close with pliers. I'm about to put a "Free" sign on it because that's what we do with junk or almost junk to see if someone will take it rather than us having to try to stuff it in the trash or drive it to the dump if it's too big to fit which I think is the case with this one.
