Mine ended abruptly when I injured my knee. It's better but still not great.
I'm hoping to restart it with a return to hiking. Time is now an issue that wasn't before.

I used to have this large, contiguous block of time that I do not have at present. It was a resource that I could take advantage of for extensive hiking.

One morning, I just decided to see how far I could go and I hiked 17 miles and still had time for lunch and work.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.

Well, my knee will not allow that so I have to take my exercises in smaller doses.

I understand. I'm not going to bolt right out. It will have to be lighter, simpler strolls to get back into it. I know a few places where there is the beauty of nature to enjoy on very smooth paths of more rational length.

I bought a nice useful knife today.
The release mechanism is rather stiff.
But that should ease with use.
The blade is sharp & straight.
Not pointy. I don't like pointy knives.
The clip is high, to allow the knife to
ride low in a pocket.
