I'm placing this thread in debate as it may well turn into one.
But for the most part, what I'm asking is a one statement essay that you believe shows a line of logic.

Pick any thought or feeling you might consider beyond refute.
Support with your cause for belief.

If you can refrain the rebuttal of someone else's essay....that would be good.
This thread is more to declaration than argument.

But should we digress to debate and rebuttal....oh well.

Whatever God's definition is, here is a logical statement that I think is beyond refute: God is God.

If we are discussing God, it comes down to faith (aka, opinion), as there is no evidence of God aside from as an idea in the mind.

I take a more romantic and less reductionsitic view. Maybe love causes brain chemistry. When I see a tree, there are reactions in my brain that cause me to percieve it, but there is still something external initiating and causing the reactions. Similarly, perhaps there is something deeper that might be called love.

Of course there is something external initiating it: the light reaching your eye causing you to see the tree and experience the emotion. Interconnection and all that.

Alright that's pretty easy: the more basic is more logical, less basic in light of the more basic. There is no reason we need god for existence. Logic can show that there is no loving entity, no divine aide, et. The only thing god is needed for is creation, which does not need anything we would categorize as god.

Well love is caused by chemical reactions in the brain, so obviously God is not love unless god is a product of the brain.

We may not understand primitive and illogical mythologies but you don't understand modern science. I'm cool with our way.
