wow.. a baggins.. what in the devil is a rodent named baggins doing on my turf?

:eek: Bagginses are no rodents... My Baggins is a weenah... And he does not appreciate you calling him a rodent... I need to go outside and get him... He's been outside barking at the golden retriever.

I stand corrected.
The contest is still open, I wasn't thinking.
the line
1 = sqr(-1) * sqr(-1)
cannot be true because
(1 / i )!= i
(-1/ i ) = i
that's where this logic falls apart.
That makes perfect sense.
Division by complex is weird
1/i=i is equivalent too i/-1=i
Divide out i and we get -1=1
1=-1, which is what this shows anyways.
So the contest is still open.
Here is a more interesting one.
Using imaginary numbers, we can prove that 1 is actually equal to -1.
1=√1
[1= √(-1*-1)] Step added for clarity
1=√(-1)*√(-1)
√(-1) can be reduced to the imaginary number i
1=i*i
1=-1

There is something wrong with this. Frubals to whoever gets it.
Find the flaw.
