Hey guys:)
...watch this video carefully.
Especially the last sentence.
We Americans will use Ukrainians proxies and we will fight to the last Ukrainian death.

Rather than just randomly quoting lunatics, perhaps you'd care to favour us with your own positions on the matter?

Double standards like giving credence to 1 loon, but not another?

Here is a trick. Remember that Ukrainians are evil for making Ukrainian the mandatory state language.. Now google how many nationalities are in Russia and if Russian is the mandatory state language. We are playing double standards.

My position is very clear: what this colonel says is what I have been hearing since 2014.
Italian journalists who have always been to Russia and to Ukraine have reported that certain non-European élites have been turning Ukraine into an anti-Putin stronghold, in order to provoke him and to push him to invade Donbas.
How? By targeting Russian speaking populations.
It's something I have always known.
Which I will never condone. Putin has surely obeyed to the will of his own people and his own government.

The difference between republic and oblast (or territory, or region) within the Russian Federation is that republics have an official language, other than Russian. Oblasts, territories and regions have Russian as an official language.

Russian Federation has
- 46 oblasts
- 22 republics
- 9 regions (krai)
- 4 territories (okrug)
- 3 cities of federal relvance
- 1 autonomous oblast

The official state language of the Russian Federation is what?

Selectively. Very selectively and recklessly, it would seem.

Are you perhaps interested in buying a bridge?

I have already made myself clear.
In the Russian Federation 22 republics the main administrative language is other than Russian.

In Ukraine, Russian was not the administrative language of Donbas.

The only thing that makes us Italians freak out (immensely) is doublestandardism.
So if someone has normalized doublestandardism, we do not side with them.;)

example
That is precious of you to say. All the more when you declare yourself the voice of the Italian people.

Sorry, not lending that any significance. I hope you did not expect me - or anyone - to.

Does this imply that there are people who are okay with doublestandardism?

I was once taught a nice one about national heritage.

It is totally absurd, but really fun.
The "birthplace" of the Germanic people is centered in what is now Denmark.

Now follow all variants of Germanic through history and you end with that the world minus the Kingdom of Thailand is Danish.

And your evidence of this conspiracy is...?

And also, how does this gel with the actual history of Ukraine, i.e: Putin's repeated interference in their elections, the installation of a pro-Putin president who violently put down protestors, and his history of both funding and supporting separatist groups in East Ukraine through astroturfing and propaganda, not to mention the numerous human rights violations against the people of Ukraine committed by Russia during its occupation of the Donbas, and Putin's continual lies and posturing about the war to his own people (who he is happy to use as cannon fodder for his own ambitions)?

Just going to ignore all of that in favour of your completely baseless conspiracy theory?

Simple, Russia (or you can say Putin) is more worried than USA was in the Cuban crisis. Sanctions and arms help intensifies his worry. Then he curtails energy supplies to Europe. All that is a block to peace talk. One thing leads to another. The worry around the world is that it should not lead to WWIII and economic collapse. Modi is one of the leaders who can resolve the issues - if they listen to him.
Are you aware of Hitler's strategy in the 1930s and 1940?

Putin is doing the same. Attempting to make the use of military invasions politically and diplomatically acceptable.

It was a mistake to let him get away with it in Crimea back in 2014. For that matter, also Transnistria in Moldavia and Abkhazian in Georgia back in 1992-1993. And Chechnia. Belarus. Syria.

Putin is applying well-bred imperialistic and militaristic politics for decades now. And he has mostly got away with it unchallenged.

No more.

Frankly, at this point I can't see criticism of NATO and claims that Putin should be negotiated with as anything less than rampant hypocrisy. Or, at best, lack of information.

That is a part of the coverup of the Deep State. Didn't you know that Putin is a part of that? :D
