The Paris attacks

Is it true that time is relative? Oh, what's that have to do with it?

Well, the world thinks the terrorists should all be executed. Yes?

So why shouldn't they execute US? Are they not just defending themselves?

Yes, but all credit goes to my friend Thesaurus.
Mr Thesaurus is a good friend. Do I know what your reply will be now I wonder?

Now the media are talking in England of the government wanting to go fight in Libia. As soon as they do that, they will bomb here as well. You thought they might have learnt something from Ireland. But this is just a good time for politics-- where you can pat each other on the back and make out you are friends and look for favours later. Dirty game.

MONEY. People making money. I'll just go out on a limb here and say their god is better than the world's god. 1 Timothy 6:10

Does nobody else see that the attacks might be more than terrorism?

Are they not a strategic attack on the world's commerce?

Make the people afraid to go out.

Also, not many of the world's population goes out to sports events, restaurants and concerts.

It is about money imho.

I could see that. And think too where they attacked. They attacked where young adults go out. Where international people did. The soccer game had the president there too.

And I saw on CNN people were running and apparently there was another scare of a suitcase so people thought it was a bomb and was running (people were out for a mourning gathering).

It wouldn't surprise me if this was at least part of their motivation.

From what I saw in reports in general from various sources (you can see it on Reddit) is that recently ISIS lost ground in Syria. At least around 20% it's estimated. It's being thought that's why they're attacking outside as retaliation. So, what better way to get at the financing of France?

Remember why Al Qaeda attacked the WTC and Pentagon on 9/11. Apparently ISIS thinks highly of Bin Laden so it wouldn't surprise me if they're followers of his and his tactics.

If ISIS is behind the attack in Paris, which all evidence points to, then basically they are saying" we are at war with you, and our war will not be limited to the immediate area we control. We will bring this war to you" And if the past events
Paris
Beirut
Libya
Russia/Egypt (downing of airliner)
Afghanistan
and probably some I missed is any indication that they can and will it is only a matter of time before they could be coming to a place near you.

Yes, that seems to be what they're saying. They're going to war with everyone. I think they're all nuts. o_O

Of course they are at war with all of us. That is the end sum of their religious ideology: the world must be run according to the instruction given by their god through the prophet Muhammed and the writings of the Qu'ran and those who do not adhere to this instruction are enemies of their god and must be killed or enslaved or subjugated. We should no longer be surprised about any of this.

It is about money imho.

Somewhere a lobbyist has been sent out by a guy who makes money from building weapons. That guy who makes money from building weapons is rubbing his hands and rocking backwards and forwards with a large grin on his face.

If we see this as a war with Islam, we're making more than one huge mistake.

One is that we need to remember that the vast majority of Muslims that are killing are killing other Muslims, plus most Muslims really don't want anything to do with these terrorists.

Two is that if we begin to discriminate against Muslims in our countries, then that will have the effect of radicalizing even more of them-- sort of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

It is important to differentiate between us seeing this as a war against Islam and them seeing it as a war against infidels. I completely agree that we must not view this as a war against Islam, for the reasons you claim and more. But I think it is foolish for us to fail to understand that for them, in their eyes, it is most assuredly a religious war against unbelievers and apostates and infidels. For them, that is exactly what it is. If we fail to acknowledge that or fail to respond to that driving force, we will make mistakes that will have devastating consequences.
