I actually agree with that. But let me tell you something. I've actually experienced delusions, due to a variety of things. Pain, drugs I take for pain, so on.Possibly not. But calling someone you don't even know delusional (as on this forum, you know no one personally) can be seen as rather rude.
The fervor people have? Believing something that is, to you, right in front of your face? Exactly the same conviction as any faith I ever had
That is not to say you are wrong, at all. But the brain will see what it wants to see. There is no direct line between eye and brain. There's a filter. And that filter does what the brain tells it to. Everything you perceive(and not just you, pet, everyone) is wrong to begin with, or at least, not entirely correct. Everything you see is ever so fractionally in the past for instance. Because light isn't instantaneous. It has to travel from point A to point B just like we do.
So we're all delusional, in a way. It's the only way to function. Madness is a human trait. It's kept us alive. It's good for us. It's freedom.
...huh that went places I wasn't expecting. Oh well.
