Seriously? How do Californiastanians tell the different cities apart? Browsing apartments to try to get a bearing of what is wear, it turns out I wasn't just in LA, but LA, Long Beach, Venice, Anaheim, went through Pasadena and Santa Ana, and it turns out when I was flying it that wasn't one big ocean of a city I saw but several of them. It wasn't like Indy where you easily tell it's pretty much contained within the 465 bypass for the most part, tapers off some, and then starts Fishers, Avon, and the other cities that stand distinct from Indy.
What I'm finding amazing though, is that although my earning potentials in/around LA jump up a good bit, the apartment rents aren't too much more than what they would be here (well, a good number of them actually are, but I'm finding plenty that aren't much more than what you could expect here).
