It makes no sense to me, that in a drug assessment, someone who pukes their brains out from alcohol abuse on New Years Eve, or St. Patrick's day, if they don't do it other times they're ok and in the green because it's "socially acceptable," but someone who goes to Colorado and smokes a joint is automatically in the yellow because pot is illegal. Societal stupidity, and stupid laws.
These "normal" people are so damn dysfunctional.

Today I'm celebrating the joy of looking at four extremely reputable symptom checkers to see what's wrong with me. The same symptoms turn up four totally different results. Maybe I'll go to the doctor and see a human symptom checker. It can't hurt.

I wonder what people will think on the trauma/abuse/neglect assessment when I ask "where do we note religious/spiritual trauma and abuse?" It definitely can be very traumatizing when it seems that even god has forsaken you, and in the case of my ex who has Catholic having all those crucifixes and portraits of Jesus all over the place to remind her god is there but doing nothing. Or LGBT youth in a Conservative church, that one is definitely high risk for such trauma. But, according to the douche bag who developed it, it has to look for religious as a strength because "so many studies show religious people do better." I call his statement, and raise him Einstein, Dawkins, Hawking, Foucault, Skinner, Maslow, Harris, Hitchens, Tyson, LaVey, Carlin, McFarlane, Izzard, and Percy Shelley.

I wonder how hard it would be to get a grassroots movement going with the focus to eliminate the influence of insurance in health care? I've only just started, and oi vey am I'm ready seeing how insurance is a bane to both client and clinician. The seeming lack of those who have "been there" as clients is one thing (at least where I'm at), with so many not knowing the difference between sympathy and empathy, but Christ clinicians and their institutions/centers shouldn't have to bend the knee to this faceless and impersonal force that gets to dictate nearly every aspect and facet of care. And to top it off, profit should just never be a goal of any facility that deals in health care, nor should they ever call themselves a business or refer to clients and patients as consumers.

And I truly wonder, why is that someone who has ever thought about or attempted suicide has to be "marked" to at least be monitored for the behavior, without any regards to if they are still suicidal or not or without considering if their life situations have changed enough so that it's just not a concern anymore? Sure, I used to think about it a lot, used to wish I could just die, and even went for an attempt, but that me is long dead and gone.

People have tried to bring the USA into the list of advanced nations when it comes to health care but so far its not worked. There are many systems to choose from: Canada, UK, Swiss and so forth that are all a bit different but all are universal.

I have become curious to see how such practices go along in places such as Canada. I'm sure they still have some guidelines and regulations, but I doubt they are encouraged to intentionally "over score" a client some so they don't risk losing their insurance. What would it be like if the facility just gets paid, and they don't have to worry about profit? It's not just me going off on a Marxist-fueled tangent when I saw the guy who was supposed to presenting on client-focused care totally neglected that subject and instead put the focus on making loyal employees and making profit.
But, I'm not there for them, I'm there for my clients. The company and its sleeping and clueless employees can **** off for all I care. Really, I can't wait until after my 90 days and I have a solid feel for what I'm doing so I can avoid the office altogether and go there only when necessary.

At least I don't have to be in till 9:30 tomorrow. I'll be able to sleep in some, and have time to straighten my hair before I leave.

I was reminded last weekend people can be very thefing rude and suck at minding their own business based on the stares I was getting at a gas station and Burger King (I was really hungry) on my way home and still mostly in costume. Not as bad though when I went to one gas station and pretty much every set of eyes there were glaring at me.

It took Canuckistan a long time to get it right. There used
to be such a backlog that those toque wear'n frostbitten
hosers would come here in droves for health care.
