last fall Mrs Wu picked about 2 bushels of apples, put one bushel on the stairway to the basement from the garage, put the other in the basement. I asked her why she put it in the basement, because it gets warmer there than in the stairway...she said they were easier to get to. Yesterday she found what was left of the basement bushel...mostly rotten. Then asked me why I didn't tell her to move them....seems to me I remember that I did...but just the same I said "sorry" and walked away.

I'm watching a documentary on the Oklahoma bombing. Talking about McVeigh and making a truck bomb, it showed a part of the table of contents from the Anarchist Cookbook. It's odd how they very faintly/lightly blurred "THE ANARCHIST COOKBOOK" down at the bottom of the page they showed, to where it's kind of blurry but still very readable.

I'm now watching a documentary on prohibition. They had a pretty good line that equally applies to pot prohibition: it turns otherwise law-abiding citizens into criminals.
And I learned that income taxes/16th Amendment came out of the push for alcohol prohibition.
