Just have a conversation with the bear.

The word will apply nicely.
It sounds like you are right on schedule. First enthusiasm at having a well-paying gig. Then the "honeymoon" ends followed by, if you're lucky, realization that you have a decent, imperfect gig.I really don't want to work tomorrow. My body is starting to rebel against going to bed early and getting up early.
Right now, the only things I'm not liking is the sleep/awake hours that aren't night owl friendly, and just a couple clients. Other than that I'm still liking the job. And as far as having a job goes, I can say I've never had even half this good, the perks and benefits are great, and I'm nearing my fourth month and not hating it and haven't had thoughts of quitting. That has never happened before. I'm usually hating my job before the first week is up and wanting to quit before the first month is up.It sounds like you are right on schedule. I'm especially enjoying, on my work phone, having the mobile data to stream Spotify all the time.It sounds like you are right on schedule. First enthusiasm at having a well-paying gig. Then the "honeymoon" ends followed by, if you're lucky, realization that you have a decent, imperfect gig.
If you ever get a chance, walk down into it.Drove 4 hours to see something rare at the Grand Canyon..... a blizzard.... it was a darn impressive blizzard..... but ya know,,,,,I did not see the Grand Canyon...which was the main reason for driving 4 hours.....did see the Hoover dam though.

I have never seen the point in the Grand Canyon. Maybe there's something in there somewhere, but way too many rocks and dirt for my liking. And a river carved it out over a very long time. Meh.
Yeah. I did not go for anything like that. Earth Science was the closest I came to it.I can understand that, but my minor in college was Physical Geography, basically geology lite.... I like that stuff...but then what would you expect from a bear
When we moved out to California decades ago we stopped at the Grand Canyon in the dead of winter. The most notable thing was one of our cats trying to escape and winding up hanging from her collar and leash out the window which was opened only a little. That was exciting.Drove 4 hours to see something rare at the Grand Canyon..... a blizzard.... it was a darn impressive blizzard..... but ya know,,,,,I did not see the Grand Canyon...which was the main reason for driving 4 hours.....did see the Hoover dam though.
