I'm in the middle of breakfast and I get a call from a Client who's having nicotine withdrawals. This on call crap sucks even more.
I used to be oncall every so often before I retired. Being woken up at 3am because people couldn't do their online banking was so much non-fun after a while. I was thrilled when that was outsourced to India so I did not have one night mostly without sleep during an oncall week minimum. Some did not get much sleep for 4-5 days during their week in hell.

So, the client who called me during breakfast, turns out he was angry enough that I wouldn't help him get a cigarette that he called the program coordinator to tell her that he wants a new case manager because I'm not helping him. So, I got my first complaint today, but it was a "good complaint" according to her. And the douche bag said he wants discharged from case management. His loss too, because I was going to teach him some things I know about photography.

I drove through during the daytime. During the day time, it seemed like any other city, except for an odd and seemingly random selection of architecture, with a sea of billboards advertising the shows of people who's heydays of selling out venues around the world has come and past.

That's what I liked about Las Vegas.
More interesting than the usual cookie cutter city.

You can bet on that.

Yup

As are most of the people who live there.

Yes, yes they are...first place I have seen people walking down the street drinking 3 foot long margaritas as well as the occasional beer

Try it at night

It is like any other big city...except for the fact in the middle of it and scattered through out they have these massive places that cater to virtually any adult pleasure you can think of.

As for me, I was visiting a friend, going to lake Mead and the Hoover Darn and seeing the Grand Canyon.....well I went to the Grand Canyon twice...only saw it once
