If you come America, beware the police. They are not your friend, rarely are they there to help, you do need to assume they are against you, they do shady and illegal stuff, and do not carry cash because it doesnt take much for them to be able to confiscate it, and you won't get it back. Keep your hands visible, and do nothings sudden, rapid, or movements that would otherwise excite them.

I do not miss it. Heat alone, when you don't have that crap, it's so much more tolerable and bearable. It was worse after I was away from it for awhile, then went to Indiana, and oh muh gawd! I think I broiled for the time I was there. And walking around with sweaty wet clothes? *blugh*

It is just that ...I do think climate has changed...in October we used to have real authentic autumn...:(
