I'm having fun flipping TDS around. Almost as good as calling a Klansman a spook.
There are a great many things worse than suffering from a life of indulgence.

I've started reinterpreting TDS as Trump Deference Syndrome.
As long as Trump keeps shifting the payments for government expenditures onto future generations and his corporate sponsors stay profitable, he can lie cheat and steal and sell out the USA interests all he wants. His base will defer to him.

This isn't the first insult I've turned around, and I'm not the only one who does it. It has nothing to do with bring fundamentalist, but using something dumb against people using something dumb. Like this trans-guy at the support I sometimes go to. If someone calls him a she, he will misgender them (I've done it a few times myself here).

Consider how bad the Big Two's candidates must be when
the Libertarian candidate gets 3.27% of the popular vote.
That's an astounding increase.

won the election, but Trump is President.
The EC was the means of the theft.
We the people voted for Hillary but the Constitution is rigged (Electoral College).
But someone got far more votes from the USA electorate than anybody else.

But you know....our system isn't completely determined by the popular vote.
Candidates must consider what happens in each state.
I infer from Trump's obstruction that he did actually commit treason.
But there's no evidence that will be considered rationally by the Basket of Deplorables.
I have my reasons for believing why you don't care about all of Trump's lies. But I also know that there are reasons, because you do it. There are reasons.

One cannot consider what isn't presented.

I don't care about any politician's lies.
Policy is what matters to me.
It should to you.

The Basket of Deplorables refers to the 2016 process as an election.
My take?
The Basket of Deplorables likes to believe that Trump was the American people's choice, and therefore whatever he does is American. So they pretend that Trump was elected, when he wasn't.
He wasn't.
We have a rigged system. Certain people have far more power than most of us, because the system is rigged to get them power.
In other places, like China and Iran, we don't call that democracy. We call that theocracy or tyranny. But here, you(not me) call that democracy.
Except when you get called out. Then you explain why democracy is bad, and democracy should be subservient to oligarchy(Republicanism).
