The Random, Meaningless Announcements Thread 3!

1- I just realised I've been here for 3 years since last month.
2- I finally found the pair of boots I want. I'll go see if they have them in store tomorrow, if not I'll order then online to pick 'em up later this week.
3- It's my 4th wedding anniversary in a few days. We'll be going somewhere for a few days next week to celebrate, then the rest of the week my husband is going to be home.
4- I admit today I had a non-vegan dinner but I've been pretty good so far. It's less hard than I thought, if it was just me it would be easy... Social situations are harder, I find, I don't want to be a burden on others. Xmas is probably going to be an exception to all this, I don't want to go head to head with my mother in law.
5- I gained a pound, but I was dreading I gained more since I didn't weight myself for a few weeks I didn't have such great food before starting eating vegan. So in all, it's a relief. I'd like to lose more weight though eating mostly vegan, I'm sure it's going to happen, so no stress about it. It's got other benefits as well, nicer skin and feeling lighter. I like it.

That all, sorry for the long rambling, had a lot to say today.

You can mark media as read. Just hover your cursor over it and the menu drops down from the arrow on its side and it says "mark as read". :)

You must have an iron will. If I had anyone on <ignore>, I'd be eaten up with curiosity what they're saying.

Yeah.It is easy for me.I do not miss talking with such ones who like to say stupid things and use profanity over and over again to get their point across.People who insult and think it's ok.Those I discard of like shrimp tails right away.I do not give it a second thought either.Once they make it to my hall of shame I never release them from that prison. They are doing hard time with no possibility of parole.I was thinking though of having a special release for one lucky individual once a year.A special pardon.:D

I've got a few people on ignore, actually... It helps me keep some sanity. I don't know their intention but I often read their posts as trolling or wanting to provoke, so I'd rather not read that sort of stuff, even if it is good intentions. Otherwise I don't really feel like coming here.

It's not a matter of disagreeing opinions for me, more that I don't want to be riled up unnecessarily (which a word I struggle to spell, btw) by things that don't matter.

Sometimes the same people who say things to be insulting one day will say something really very nice the next day. That's one reason I have no one on ignore. Another is the same as Rev's; I am too curious of what people have to say.

Some people become mean when they're angry. I'll try to work with them because they can recover from a bad day or a misunderstanding. But some are mean when they're in a good mood. I try to avoid them.
