Congratulations. Now when you get another $1,000 and they breed you'll have $10kToday I think is the first time Ive held $1,000 in my hand and it be mine.
I shan't have it long. It'll go to electrolysis and boomerang back and forth until its back in my safe. I already have one $1,000 in the process of being made to return to me.Congratulations. Now when you get another $1,000 and they breed you'll have $10k
Does this mean you have found the warm embrace of Menards?
It's almost 6am and it's 82° outside. It's going to get hotter. No rain in sight.
funny, when I was in Arizona it was quite nice at 6am.....of course that was February.....and it actually snowed in North Phoenix when I was there....sorry...it was likely my fault
Well, it's really not as bad as it might sound. At least it's a dry heat. I've been to high humidity places like Houston and New Orleans, and you can hardly breathe.
It's gone up three degrees since I last posted. The forecast said it will be 106° today, although that's at the airport.
I've been in 116F in Las Vegas and 110F in San Diego, and 100F in NYS and 98F in Florida.... I am not fond of them all....but I think the Las Vegas and San Diego heat is more dangerous. You don't really sweat and that can lead to dehydration faster IMO because you don't think you need water...but then that could be because I grew up in places with heat and H\humidity.
But I will admit the older I get, the hot temps appear to bother me less...2 years ago I actually enjoyed a weekend in Florida at 98F with 95% humidity.... but I don't think I could take if for more than a few days
Yeah, you have to keep hydrating yourself, especially for those who mostly work outside. I've gotten used to it from living here in the Southwest as long as I have. But I find that I'm getting more sensitive to colder temps.
Oh, one does sweat. But it evaporates quickly.I've been in 116F in Las Vegas and 110F in San Diego, and 100F in NYS and 98F in Florida.... When I'd go on long runs in LA, I'd return white....whiter than
when I started cuz I was covered in salt. That was weird.
High temps, low humidity, & continual breeze did it.
Hottest I've experienced was working in a building in
Miami FL in July....5 days at 140F. Thirsty work it was.
Trivia.....Ironically the hottest I have experience was 120 and I that was in Massachusetts, but I was a kid so who cares...hottest while working was 100F, also in Massachusetts....I was a mechanic.....working in a garage....with cutting and welding torches (oxy acetylene) .....yup...that was a hot day
Trivia.....
