That is a top sweaty gag scene, but the rest of the movie wasn't sweaty.
But you get points for the gif.

But I will admit the older I get, the hot temps appear to bother me less

I used to think old people were weird in wearing too many clothes when it was obviously so hot that minimal clothing etc was required. Now I are one of them thar old people and like heat.

I was in Las Vegas, and I saw two folks, in their 30s, on a 70 degree day, wearing long down coats that went to their ankles.

But I have seen older folk, on hotter days, in upstate NY, wearing heavy winter coats

30's? Fashion perhaps overriding good sense?

between 30 and 40 years old...and it was in the 60s at that time I believe and I'm guessing residents and 60F was freezing for them.

When I go to Florida in the winter I can always tell tourists from residence and I am assuming it is the same in Las Vegas, and it was the same in Southern California. Tourist are in short sleeves and some are even wearing shorts. Residents are in coats and sweaters

That was true for us when we moved to Northern CA from Northern NY in January too many decades ago. We went from sub-zero as in 20-30 below to 45 or so and we were celebrating springlike temps in t-shirts and shorts while the locals were bemoaning winter all bundled up.

I don't have a hovercraft and have not seen any eels in real life. I'm clearly doing something right.

Maybe we all are unless someone has a hovercraft but I've not seen them around for a long time.
