Poor baby. It was just minus 25 Fahrenheit here.

I'm not complaining, I rather like the cold.

-25F........ that's tomorrow here..... or they say with wind-chill it could get to -40F

And I'm not whining, I use to work a tree farm in the mountains of Pa. in the Winter and I rather enjoyed the -20 not factoring in the wind-chill and hiking around the woods on snowshoes.....all by myself.....ok...I had a rather large dog with me (Bouvier des Flandres) but other than him chasing the occasional blowing leaf and the wind in the trees, there were no noises and no other creatures around crazy enough to be out in that weather

I've been out in such unholy temperatures on rare occasions. It's not bad unless one is trying to fix a snowthrower or snowplow.....just can't hold onto tools well. Today, I had to do a temp fix on a plow at 7F & windy....not too bad. Coldest I've ever felt was snowboarding at -5F in a wind so strong that it wouldn't let me go down a blue run....worst blow job ever!

Random and meaningless...ok...

I have a crush on someone. My neighbor
Lucky for me...he asked if I'd date him. (and I said yes) ^_^

oh

and I'm eating soup right now.

Aren't you thrilled I reported this? :p

Do the dang things even start at that temp?

I'm told they do...but I started them in the slightly warmer garage and then went out.... luckily the logs were close. I was not hauling one with me through the woods on my snowshoes with a large dog following me who seemed to absolutely enjoy stepping on the back of my right snowshoe every single time I tried to take a step

Now it is time to go out in the 4F (ironic temp) with wind-chill to go forage for food

A dog following a bear? You don't see this every day :p

4F would'a been great. I was stuck with 1A. Long story behind that. (I felt more like a group W bench type.)
Lucky young men today....don't even know what we're talk'n about.

It's really cold here and I don't want to go outside, but I hafta.
I kinda, sorta, almost made a firm New Year's resolution to not mention how warm it is down here in Florida this year every time you post about the cold Canadian winter temperatures.

I started thinking that maybe those comments came across as cruel...

...hang on a minute, I want to open the sliding glass door for some fresh air...it's just gorgeous outside today...

...so anyway...what was I saying...oh, I forgot...guess it doesn't matter. So...

...how you doin'?

Good luck to ya! How did he know you were into him?

We dated very briefly a little over a year ago, and since then, both dated others...and always remained friends. I've always thought...what if. And I guess he did too because we talked yesterday and he asked if I wanted to see where things might go, if we date. This past year has been hard for me, so this is a breath of fresh air. :)
