So Mrs Wu wants to buy another rental property.....frankly I don't but whatever.....she found one and was interested...but if got sold before she made an offer....she found another....I absolutely refused to deal with because it was next to a rather large river...on the flood plain..... she just found another and made an offer........and it was refused....counter offer was made....but here is the interesting bit....example...if the asking price was listed at $500,000.....you offer $450,000...the sellers comeback with a counter offer of $550,000......Nope....sorry...that is not how it works....have a nice day...see ya later...adios Au revoir, Auf Wiedersehen, Zàijiàn....b'bye

I once placed a real low ball offer on a property.
It was much less than half the asking price.
The seller rejected it immediately.
But some time later, they submitted an offer
to sell it for even less than my original offer.
What did this mean?
My original low ball offer (based upon net
income) was a little too high. Apparently they
slowly figured out why I offered what I did.
That was weird.
BTW, I passed on the property.
