I'm starting to feel discriminated against for not having any credit cards or outstanding loans (other than student loans). But yet my efforts to improve my credit score (something needed for renting an apartment or securing a mortage) are thwarted by not having any lines of credit. Multiple sources I check all tell me I need to open up lines of credit and use it. But I don't want to. I don't want to borrow money unless I need to. And this being responsible is hurting me more than always getting myself into debt. And they even tell making payments on this needless debt will better my score, even though it will cost me more in the long run. And they'll even tell me getting a credit card amd paying it off every month is better than not having any at all? But why? That's more money I have to spend and more time I have to invest in paying bills.
This system needs to be turned into a human so it can be impaled.

Welcome to the world. It took me ages to figure that one out and still never had a, credit card. My credit score was crap in the uk but i didn't need it. Different system in france so not only didn't i care back then i have no need to care now.

Here it effects things like securing a place to live. Which is bull****. I shouldn't be punished for not having something I have no need of. But when I needed to rent a car, I about couldn't because I don't have on, but the guy at the counter made an exception.

I want the system of credit scores and ratings and needing an instant loan card would turn into a human so I can go Mortal Kombat on that jabroni's roodie poo candy ***.
Should I use a sword for poking and slicing tender places or go with a bo staff so I can crack bones?

I feel like I need a hazmat suit to go out. Our county is red, but you'd think we were full open. I had free wings at buffalo wild wings that I redeemed today, and when I went in to pick it up that area is general was Friday night busy and buffalo wild wings itself was crowded with maskless people to the point they had an hour and a half wait time.
The unvaccinated are going to suffer, but healthcare providers will be the ones paying for it. And those who won't get treatment because people seem to think the pandemic is over.

And I'm having to get up early to get to the gym and beat the crows because it gets crowded with maskless aretards and doesn't slow down in the evening.
It is absolutely insane and nuts, because I know all those people aren't vaccinated.

Lunch, brie, black tomato and fig chutney on olive bread. Followed by green tea with ginger. Taken on the veranda with a glorious worm sun and very gentle warm wind strolling up from the tropics.

By a remarkable coincidence, they're that too.
(They go both ways.)

That's metric inches for ya, very flexible.

Rather like the guy who provides our firewood. His 50cm (500mm/half metre) rule stretches from 45 to 65cm. The fire only fits 50cm (54 at an angle) maximum, hence the skill with a chainsaw
