I was a little irritated with Pope Francis today when I read in the headlines that he said that people who don't have children are selfish. Some people don't want to have children but I don't think that means they are selfish. Some people shouldn't be parents and it's better if they don't have any and I am glad when those people choose not to.

I've been trying to keep up with the readings for a class that has two boring books, and just a couple minutes ago I realized there are no tests over these books. So even though I"m at work, I put the book down, got out my laptop, and here I am.

I'm not reading the exact same books....what a coincidence!

I've never slacked off at work this much before.
It's weird actually being able to do something like this, and not being so busy with other stuff you're supposed to be doing, at work of all places.

In about two weeks, I will no longer be a teenager. I kinda feel old. No kidding.

Don't complain, I'm in my mid-twenties! And my husband is going to be 30! :screamcat: But it doesn't mean one feels older. That's when there's a problem, imo. I want to stay youthful - so I am. :tonguewink:

Yeah, some recent things have me thinking, oh well just like the other ones... Where did that progressive personality gone to? He seemed nice before, but now, I'm not so sure.

I feel less selfish about not having children... I don't think I'd make a good mother, so it's better this way for both me and children. Some people shouldn't have them, and that's fine. People who say these sort of things don't consider all of the possibilities and situations a couple might be in. Sometimes it's the more responsible thing to do to not have them. Just my two cents.
