They are not song birds. The are characterized by a harsh sounding squawk. And I strongly dislike their high level of aggression. I also never really thought about killing them until they attacked my mom's dog and the cats began to flee from them.
When they take over, it's like the bird version of the Hell's Angels, particularly and especially when it comes to the noise, aggression, and potential for violence.
