REEDS SPRING, Mo. (Gray News) – A Missouri man was arrested after trying to sell a catalytic converter on Facebook Marketplace, but it wasn’t the item for sale that got him in trouble.

Look closely at the image used in the listing and you’ll see a large bag of meth sitting on a coffee table next to a spoon and a syringe.

Someone alerted the sheriff’s office about the posting and detectives were able to get a warrant to search the man’s home.

Stone County Sheriff Doug Rader said detectives seized 48 grams of meth and a handgun.

“Sorry folks, his catalytic converters are not for sale right now,” Rader said in a Facebook post. “Take note, if you are selling items on social media, make sure your drugs are not in the background!”

Years ago, when I was in hospital security, a woman brought her child to the ER, she was far from sober, but she took a cab to the hospital.... she forgot her insurance cards....a deputy sheriff was in the ER and offered to take her home to pick it up..... they were gone for a long time.....the deputy finally came back with the insurance card......but without the mother...... as he drove her to the house she began telling him about her pot growing business...to which he told her to shut up, he did not want to hear it....just get the card go back to the hospital and take care of the child.....they got to her house...she invited him in, he said he should probably stay outside...she insisted, he walked in the front door....and directly in front of him...was the kitchen and on the kitchen table were multiple large marijuana plants under light.....she had been arrested....

Florida police make traffic stop and find bag full of drugs labeled 'Bag Full Of Drugs' - CNN

(CNN)A Florida traffic stop turned into a surprise narcotics bust after police found what looked to be a bag full of drugs in the car.

The clue?

It was labeled "Bag Full Of Drugs."

A Florida Highway Patrol trooper made the stop after observing a car going 25 miles per hour over the limit Saturday, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office said.

A Sheriff's K-9 arrived at the scene and alerted police to the presence of contraband inside.

That's when police said they found the narcotics -- there were approximately 75 grams of methamphetamine, 1.36 kilograms of GHB, 1 gram of cocaine, 3.6 grams of fentanyl, 15 MDMA tablets and drug paraphernalia.
