I have to admit, before I have never though much about an Ivy League college before, other than that they aren't the easy and guaranteed success some rich little ******** think they are, and I certainly never thought I would have any sort of dealings with them in any shape or form.
But when one says they think I would be a qualified candidate, and suddenly they are so totally freakin' awesome that I'm scrambling to try to figure out how to afford what could probably top $70,000 a year, which includes tuition, books, and living expenses. Gonna have to write an autobiographical essay though, and decide who I would have write my second letter of recommendation.
Apparently I must be cut-out to be an academic, because I work my *** off doing that "real, normal, everyday job" thing and get no where, and yet I put in very minimal effort into school and I'm having more doors and opportunities opened than I ever imagined. And that an Ivy League school contacted me has had me feeling ecstatic the past few days.
