He sits next to photocopiers kibitzing people who are making copies.
For all I know that's his show for that poster I saw saying he'll be here. Or maybe the crowd just shouting you can do it at him for an hour? I don't even know if it's a comedy show or not. I suppose I assumed that given his regular appearance in Adam Sandler flicks.

Now it really don't matter who gets the best of who.
It never did and never will.
It was never meant for it to be that way.
Why must it be that way at all?

The way it is, the way that it goes
Happenin' day after day, yeah.
That's the way it is, the way that it goes,
Workin' in the, workin' in the strangest ways.
That's the way it is, that's the way it is,
That's the way it is, that's the way that it goes, yeah.
Yeah. That's the way it is, that's the way that it goes.
That's the way it is, that's the way that it goes.
See it happen day after day, yeah, yeah,
Workin' in the strangest ways.

There is a baker in New York who, according to the spam email, seems willing to delivery fresh new York bagles to me at competitive prices. Do you think i should order some?

Bagels are over-rated.
Stick to the baguettes you know.
Best ones are sourdough.

Sourdough is best when traveling cuz
it lasts longest without getting moldy.

Any decent baguette is uneatable after 24 hours.

Probably because the boulangers here don't use preservatives.

And there are too many boulangère (bakers) here to even bother taking bread with you when traveling, just buy fresh.

Well, let's see. The fastest aircraft can reach a speed of 2200 mph. That means it could get from New York to Paris in about 1h 40m - although I don't know if it has that kind of range. Though it could be refueled mid-flight.

They're working on a plane which could go 4000 mph: Lockheed Martin SR-72 - Wikipedia

It's an intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft, so I'm guessing it could pinpoint your exact location and drop the bagels in by parachute directly to your front door. If it can go 4000 mph, then it would be just less than an hour, straight from a New York oven to your house.

Buying fresh while on the road isn't an option.
Good sourdough bread will remain great for
a week if kept in a plastic bag.

Of course its an option, see a bakers, take foot off go pedal and place it on the stop pedal... Park up neatly and pop into the shop to buy your bread.

You are of course welcome to enjoy old bread if you want

Try buying bread on the PA Turnpike.
Then you'll see the wisdom & pleasure of aged sourdough bread.

Not somewhere i frequent on my travels.

The autoroutes have aires (service areas) every 30 or so km. Fresh bread is usually available at those.

It's available at some locations here too.
But I prefer the convenience of traveling
without needing to search for things that
I can easily bring.
Perhaps the French just don't know the
pleasures of good sourdough bread, eh.
Criminy, they don't even have good
French fries!

Or maybe the French realise that good, f r e s h bread is what life is about
