Florida Woman Sues Hershey's for $5 Billion Over Reese's Pumpkins Not Having Jack-o-Lantern Faces

A Florida woman filed a lawsuit against Hersey’s claiming that its seasonal Reese’s treats were deceptive because they didn't depict faces as shown on the packaging.

According to a lawsuit filed in the Middle District Court of Florida on Wednesday, Cynthia Kelly sued the Hershey's Company because its Jack-o-Lantern treats were advertised with mouth and eye drops on the packaging but didn’t have any on the actual chocolates.

“Hershey's labels for the products are materially misleading and many consumers have been deceived and misled by the pictures on the products' packaging,” the lawsuit reads, according to WFTV.

“Reese's what are you doing,” Kelly's attorney, Delray Beach-based Anthony J. Russo said in the lawsuit. “Look at the picture on the packet. It's like a pumpkin with a face and a little mouth – then you open the packet and you're presented with that monstrosity.”

I changed my avatar picture. I was getting bored with the flag. Besides, in my job, I do a lot of business with the state government, and that organization is run by a bunch of whackos. I've been told that the Arizona State Legislature is one of the most dysfunctional bodies to have ever existed.
