I need to go do something...... Think I'll go take some stuff out of the dryer, go fold it...and then go peddle the stationary reclining bike

Sam ate all the cake last night. :(

Once my laundry is dry, maybe I'll go brave the snovvstorm and buy myself some junk. And caffeine.

I'm sadly not going to be able to have @Shadow Wolf stab me when I get my "routine bloodwork" done before a CT scan (I did not ask why that was necessary). Then the CT scan or as I like to think of it:

there was a similar bloom county cartoon years ago, but Bill the cat was sitting on his chest

I changed my mind and asked Bard. Since it's "with contrast":

  • Creatinine and BUN: To assess kidney function before contrast administration.
  • Electrolytes: To check for imbalances that could potentially worsen with contrast.
  • Thyroid function tests: Some contrast agents interfere with thyroid function tests, so these may be done beforehand if relevant.
  • Complete blood count (CBC): To check for anemia or other blood abnormalities that could affect the scan.
  • Clotting tests: If you have a history of bleeding disorders or are taking blood thinners, these tests might be needed.
