We attach everything to Monty Python and the Holy Grail when appropriate but you know what I don't hear much of? The FlatEarther in his rocket who set out to take pictures proving the Earth is flat went kersplat and died in Bat Country.

This is true and I want to hear more of that bidness. But I don't want to google it or anything like that because that's like, work, ya know? And I am not studying working.

I've been on hold all morning for an appointment updating my stuff for foodstamps. I did have plans, I was hoping to do stuff, but I have to be to work in a couple hours.

Hey, guess what - I did not get mine. I had COVID (some form of it, who knows what strand or variant?) a bit over a year ago, and it was a big, fat nothing. And this was after getting three shots! So no thanks! Oh and as you may know, I am also a geezer.

You know what was really weird? After the third shot, I really wasn't expecting anything because nothing much had happened to me before. But this time I got a fever that stayed with me several days, not hours, and I got a headache that lasted FOUR DAYS. Four days of unrelenting headache pain. It simply would not go away. It wasn't like a migraine, and I haven't had a headache in years and years. It was in the front of my head. Also, my blood pressure went up and stayed up till very recently. So no thanks. Ain't nobody got time fo dat.

The only person I know who actually died of COVID had had five shots, the last one in November, and she died the following January of COVID, so I'm pretty skeptical. Sorry.

But by all means, you go ahead on and get that shot.

You're fortunate. It pays to have good genes, &
to avoid things that depress the immune system
eg, stress.
I know some anti-vaxers....er knew some.
They died of Covid 19. Other such friends had to
be hospitalized. They still suffer from Long Covid.
Of all the people I know who got vaccinated, many
caught it, but none had a serious case. No hospital
stays. That's what the vaccine is for, ie, reducing
the severity.
I've never even caught 1 case.

Disease & vaccination are probabilistic things.
It's like wearing a seatbelt....you might survive
without one...or die with one....but your odds
of surviving a car crash are better if you don't
exit via the windshield.
So it goes with vaccination. I recommend
the Mayo Clinic for more info. Johns Hopkins
is good too. Even the CDC comports with them.

I avoid people as much as possible anyway.
Who knows what pestilence you'd bring
from Texas! Covid, killer bees, murder wasps,
fire ants, Ebola, Hanta Virus, lawyers, etc.
